PERFUCKTION

PERFUCKTION serves as a creative rebellion against the doctrine of flawlessness and the paralyzing obsession with optimization that permeates our lives. In a world where mistakes are discarded and the machine-made perfect circle is the only acceptable standard, this work shatters the constant pressure to justify oneself and one’s craft. It is the visual manifestation of a deep exhaustion with a world that leaves no room for the unfinished or the supposedly flawed. The series materializes this sentiment through radical glass forms: smaller elements made of molten glass appear to ooze uncontrollably from a body—matter escaping its prescribed order. The larger, hand-blown pieces provoke through their physical application: when placed in the mouth, they create the visceral image of vomiting glass. This staging acts as the ultimate release—a physical purging of the perfection that has become unbearable.
